Who are you?
I am Siobhan Maire Dumigan. I am half Chinese and half Irish and I grew up in Hong Kong.
What do you do? Tell us about your typical day.
I am a dancer, private Pilates instructor, personal trainer, group fitness trainer, bounce master trainer and instructor. My schedule varies a lot depending on what performance I have going on at the time but usually I would teach at bounce, have a private Pilates client and a rehearsal.
How did it all start? How did you get into this industry?
I have loved dancing ever since I can remember and I knew I wanted to dance for a living since I was 13. I didn't know how I was going to do it but I just followed my heart. In my last year of university I did my personal training certificate in Australia cause I thought I would need a back up plan, but it turned out so much more than a back up plan. I feel in love with the fitness world as well, I have always loved sports and being active but helping someone else realize that and helping them be happy in their own skin is a wonderful thing. I came back to Hong Kong and did my Pilates Mat Certificate, CrossFit Level 1 certificate and Bounce certificate. This August I went to Thailand for a month to do my Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training as well.
What does “Living Your Passion” mean to you?
I am doing that right now, I would never do a job I wasn't passionate about. I love dancing, training and teaching.
Where do you find inspiration?
The people I work with, the people I train, music and nature.
Passion or Perseverance? Which is more important in achieving success?
I think both are equally as important.
What keeps you grounded?
Yoga and my dogs.
Whats the most important piece of advice you can give for someone looking to "take the plunge” and live their passion.
Be brave and follow your heart and your gut. You wont regret it.

Will be performing in the grand opening of the California Tower in Lan Kwai Fong :)
